Other common mistakes: eating too lean and lacking energy; adding too much butter instead of choosing naturally fatty cuts; keeping large amounts of cheese and cream; drinking alcohol on weekends and wondering why weight does not move; chasing ketones instead of observing real progress; copying an athlete’s protocol while exhausted; or trying to go too fast when the nervous system is already under pressure.

A good strategy should make the body easier to read. If food becomes a pile of keto products, supplements, coffees, sweeteners, cheeses, snacks, forced fasts and random workouts, the noise has simply been rebuilt.

Which strategy to choose

Low carb may be the best entry point for someone coming from a very high-carbohydrate diet. It reduces chaos without changing everything overnight. Keto may suit someone who wants to explore more regular ketosis and control carbohydrates more precisely. Carnivore becomes especially interesting when strong simplification is needed, variables must be removed and the body needs to become readable again.

For fat loss, the most useful strategy is often the one that calms hunger, stabilizes energy, preserves muscle, improves sleep, reduces compulsive deviations and can be repeated without a permanent fight. The best diet on paper is useless if it creates frustration, obsession, weakness or compensation.

The central question becomes: how much simplicity does your body need today? Some people need a well-built low carb approach. Others need precise keto. Others need a strict carnivore phase to remove variables. And some first need to correct sleep, stress, salt, walking or training before blaming food.
